Our 200-hour training course meets over 10 weekends (see schedule). Our 300-hr training course meets over 15 weekends (starting 9/18/2020). Our 500-hr training is the combination of both the 200-hr and 300-hr programs (25 weekends, same schedule).

Our 200-hour training course focuses on balancing all eight limbs of the practice of yoga. Starting with a mindful, alignment-based approach to asana that takes into account modifications for injury and illness, it is accompanied by meditation, Pranayama and the study of yoga philosophies to provide a well-rounded introduction to the art of teaching yoga. This course meets over a 6-month+ period to provide participants ample time learn objectives and put them into practice.

Class Hours
The Teaching curriculum hours will be scheduled as needed on Fridays and Sunday afternoons—students enrolled in the Advanced Study curriculum will not attend these sessions, when scheduled. The specific weekend schedule will be provided each month for the course.
Missed Hours
We understand that it may be necessary to miss hours during the training due to personal conflicts, illness or other priorities. However, to complete receive your teaching certificate all hours must be completed. Missed hours can be made up through attendance at other workshops or classes, through one-on-one appointments, or by additional self-study assignments. A plan to make-up the necessary hours must be approved in advance. Additional fees may apply for make-up hours (i.e., regular class/workshop or private session fees).
